USA Joins the Ranks of Rogue States: A Disturbing Shift!

In the blistering summer of 2020, Belarus erupted in a fervor of protests against the iron-fisted ruler, Alexánder Lukashenko, a man clinged to power through corrupt and rigged elections. Belarus is but a stalinist relic, and Lukashenko—a little tyrant wielding a rifle instead of democracy. Many thought he would end up like Nicolae Ceausescu, executed for his brutal regime. Yet, his story took a different turn.

Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin: A Complicit Alliance?

Despite the growing dissent, Russia stepped in, shielding Lukashenko. Disillusioned by the ongoing protests, many Belarusians fled. The esteemed writer, Svetlana Alexiévich, hauntingly declared, “One day I will come back.” That day hasn’t come yet. In a sinister twist, during 2021, Lukashenko forcibly pressed neighboring states to take in desperate refugees while literally abandoning them at the borders of Poland and Lithuania. And then, Dmitry Putin’s brutal invasion of Ukraine in 2022 legitimized Lukashenko’s regime once more, making him a key player in the Kremlin’s game.

Rogue Alliances: A Disturbing Friendship

February 12 marked a shameful day for the USA as diplomat Christopher W. Smith made a controversial trip to meet with none other than the dictator himself, Lukashenko. This historic meeting was a mere 24 hours after a phone call between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. What a disgraceful display of diplomacy!

“It’s about time we review our sanctions… for potassa, as it’s vital for our fertilizers!”

In what can only be described as a rapid betrayal of American principles, the Trump administration has turned the tables on decades of foreign policy, embracing rogue states over the virtuous. Instead of condemning leaders like Lukashenko, they have allied with them, condemning Ukraine alongside Russia, North Korea, and Belarus at a recent UN Security Council meeting. And this isn’t just coincidence. The USA has made some shady friends.

The USA: A Rogue State in the Making

The reality is stark: the United States has descended into the realm of Rogue States. Historically, it was meant to be the champion of democracy and liberty. Now, it wades in the murky waters with slime-ridden dictators and hostile nations. This is evidenced in how the US has manipulated Ukraine, coercing it into accepting $130 billion in aid—a burden that will inevitably spiral into further debt.

“In a world of rogue states, the weak nations have a bleak future.”

Our once great nation is now aligning itself with the likes of Belarus and North Korea. What once was freedom is now a grim reality, signaling troubling times for democracy. Are we watching the decline of freedom on the global scale?
