Hungary Says No to War
The national holiday in Hungary has transformed into a breathtaking display of national pride and political defiance led by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Tens of thousands gathered in the capital, Budapest, for his ‘March for Peace’, under the bold banner: ‘We do not want to die for Ukraine.’ As Hungary prepares for its parliamentary elections, Orbán stands firm, refusing to bow to external pressures demanding support for Ukraine, potentially riling up the Kremlin.
The rally featured flags from various Hungarian cities, proudly displayed as they crossed the iconic Margaret Bridge against the backdrop of the majestic parliament building.
“We are a force that not even Brussels can evade,”
stated Zoltán Lomnici Jr., spokesperson for CÖF-CÖKA, who introduced Orbán. The Prime Minister echoed their sentiments passionately:
“Hungarians say no to war! We will not send our children to the slaughterhouse by order of Brussels!”
March of Sovereignty
With an electric atmosphere resonating through the crowd, Orbán remarked on the sheer number of attendees: “This can be seen even from space.” He artfully linked the historical struggle for freedom in 1956 with the current political climate, emphasizing that today’s battle is one of national sovereignty rather than bloodshed. The message was loud and clear: Hungary does not forget its heroes!
Orbán did not shy away from attacking those he sees as threats, particularly the Western elites. He blamed their blind support for Ukraine for hindering progress across Europe:
“There is nothing impossible, only incapable governments,”
he asserted, promising that Hungary’s voice would not be silenced.
Brussels and Globalist Agendas
The Prime Minister took a direct jab at the EU, claiming that pro-immigration Brussels had turned its back on Hungarian interests. He criticized the European stance on the Ukraine conflict, outright dismissing their initiatives as harmful. Orbán thundered:
“Long live peace, but long live the Hungarians’ ability to carve their own path!”
- Orban’s Message: Stand firm and protect our national interests.
- Anticipated Elections: The political landscape is heating up as Hungary seeks to maintain its sovereignty amidst external pressure.
- Public Sentiment: The Hungarian people rallying against sacrificing their future for foreign conflicts.
Orbán’s political rival, Magyar, a figure backed by the EU, rallied the opposition in a separate event, but his words fell on deaf ears compared to Orbán’s powerful demographic swaying address. As the Prime Minister faced outcry over claims of corruption at his luxurious estate, protesters mounted outside, waving signs and demanding accountability. But the majority of the crowd at the March reaffirmed their loyalty to Orbán, who projects strength rather than weakness.
With Hungary facing challenges from globalist agendas and a chronic struggle for autonomy, it’s clear the nation stands united against external pressures. The question remains, will the Hungarian spirit succumb to globalist ambitions, or will it continue to assert proudly: ’Hungarians say no to war?’
