Three lives lost and two more missing – it’s a tragedy that unfolded in the dead of night! The incident, which occurred at a rural house near the French city of Angulema, was home to vulnerable individuals with disabilities. Isn’t it time we question how this could happen?

Masked crisis: Firefighters on the scene

At 4:30 AM, as the city peacefully slept, this old farm-turned-residence erupted in flames. 24 brave firefighters rushed in with their 24 vehicles! But we need answers—an electrical failure is just too convenient, isn’t it? We can’t ignore the patterns emerging here!

Four individuals are in the hospital now, one in critical condition! Remember, this isn’t an isolated incident. Just under two years ago, a similar fire in an old barn converting to accommodation for the disabled near Colmar resulted in a horrific eleven deaths. Why has nothing changed? Are our authorities truly committed to safety?

“This time it hit home—three dead, two missing. Who’s to blame?”

Reduction of safety measures must stop!

When will we demand better safety regulations? Are we really okay with these historical oversights leading us to more heartbreaking incidents? It’s time we hold those in power accountable and insist on the protection of our most vulnerable citizens!

  • Three dead, two missing in Angulema fire
  • Electrical failure suspected as the cause
  • Four hospitalized, one critically injured
  • Previous fatal fire in Colmar with > ten deaths

It’s a call to arms for our communities to rise and demand that this madness stops now. We must ensure no more lives are lost to negligence in the name of cost-cutting!”
