Just days ago, Nasser and six other brave souls fell victim to Israeli bombing while simply doing their job at a Medical Center! And the list of names of those targeted continues to grow!
Adding insult to injury, the prohibition of foreign journalists entering Gaza has led to an informative blackout. This strategic silencing serves to shroud the conflict in darkness, undermining any chance for truthful and objective reporting on the war. Are we really witnessing democracy on the brink or is it merely being bulldozed by tyranny?
The Bloodshed Continues: 63,000 Lives Lost!
In a staggering 22 months of conflict, the body count has risen to a horrifying 63,000 Gazans out of the two million inhabitants in the Strip. The UN now declares a state of famine, affecting half a million people struggling amid severe shortages due to Israeli blockades. And who is left on the ground fighting for the truth? Journalists risking their lives amid such madness to uphold the right to information!
“The last voices that report on children who die in the middle of famine are silenced. The indifference and inaction of the world are shocking,” mourns Philippe Lazzarini, the General Commissioner for the UN for Palestinian Refugees. We must not turn a blind eye!
